Project Update – Refurb Africa Project July 30

Orile Mosque, Lagos – After a week off for the Eid Festivities, the work as started again with the roofing the brothers’ toilet block and they have started the block work for sisters’ toilet block MsA. – May Allah help us complete this Mosque, ameen.

We have completed the walls of the new toilet block – Refurb Africa Project July 17 update

JULY 17 UPDATE on our Refurb Africa Charitable Project Our operational budget is around £800 to £1,000/month.

THIS WEEK we are continuing the work outside and we have a Special Guest from Egypt!
~
The work to the new toilet block continues apace. As you can see from the pictures, the outside walls have nearly been completed and they are doing the levelling over the doors, Alhamdullilah.

As we enter the blessed month of Hajj, the work continues IsA.

We are continuing the work on the new toilet block and the sisters’s ablution area MsA.

Balad Foundation – In the beginning was an idea

In 2019 we asked the question – Why is the land rich, but so many communities around the world are poor? Of course this is a very deep question and there are so many reasons on a historical, demographic and socio-economic level, that it will have to be a discussion for another day. It is a complex problem that we cannot even begin solve, but what we can do is look at how we create wealth and value within communities.
